Host PC Requirements for Phone Farm Control

The host PC is the control brain of a phone farm — underspec hosts cause mirror lag, sync failures, and USB timeouts. **Baseline planning (adjust on quote):** - 8–16+ physical CPU cores for 20–40 mirrored Android nodes - 32–64 GB RAM for large mirror farms - SSD for OS and APK cache - Dedicated USB 3.x controller cards when exceeding onboard port count **USB topology:** - One uplink per hub tree; avoid daisy-chaining consumer hubs - Powered industrial hubs on quoted BOM - Separate controllers for iPhone and Android stacks when mixed **Network:** - Wired LAN for host; stable upload if remote support sessions run - Router sized for concurrent device groups **OS:** Windows common for batch-control tools; Linux paths for ADB-heavy QA — confirm compatibility with your software before hardware PO. Send target node count and software name on RFQ for host sizing notes on proforma.
