Rack and Cabinet Planning for Phone Farm Projects
Room-scale projects fail in planning when power, heat, and cable length are treated as afterthoughts.
**Layout steps:**
1. Count boxes from capacity estimator (Planning Tools)
2. Assign one control PC per hub group or per row — scope on quote
3. Plan hot aisle / exhaust direction for fan kits
4. Label USB and power per stack before go-live
**Custom cabinets:**
Available for enterprise RFQs — dimensions, door access, and fan plenum confirmed on drawing, not from a fixed catalog page.
**Cable management:**
Service loops at hub tier; avoid tension on node ports during stack maintenance.
**Access:**
Leave front/service clearance for slot swap without moving entire rack.
Send room photo or rack sketch with device target count — engineering uses it for cabinet and PSU recommendations.
Request a Hardware Quote
Send device count, models, connection mode, voltage region, and shipping country. Written quote before assembly — lead time confirmed on quote.
