iPhone Farm vs Android Farm: Procurement Differences
Android and iPhone farms share chassis concepts but differ in cable plant, control stack, and per-node cost.
**Android-heavy farms:**
- USB debugging and batch APK workflows are standard
- Motherboard boxes maximize density for headless tasks
- Hub tier and OTG options drive stability at scale
**iPhone clusters:**
- Cable mix (Lightning / USB-C) locked at quote
- Control software and host OS requirements stated on datasheet
- Often higher per-node cost; SIM/camera paths depend on quoted models
**Mixed rooms:**
Possible with clear BOM separation — Android stacks and iPhone stacks on distinct hubs and PSUs reduces cross-interference.
**Quote fields that change:**
Target models, OS/control stack, cable kit, and burn-in scope. Do not assume one chassis SKU covers both platforms interchangeably.
Tell us your platform mix early; we route you to the closest catalog SKU and note gaps as "confirmed before quote."
