Factory Burn-In Testing: What Buyers Should Expect
Burn-in catches early fan, PSU, and USB path failures before cartons leave Guangzhou.
**Standard scope (when ordered):**
- Power-on every slot
- USB/data path check control PC → hub → node
- Loaded run duration depends on product class — stated on packing checklist
- Fan noise and temperature spot-check
**What burn-in is not:**
It does not replace your app-level soak test with production accounts. It validates hardware assembly, not your campaign logic.
**Documentation:**
Buyers can request checklist sign-off or summary note for audit — specify on RFQ for enterprise deals.
**Skip burn-in:**
Possible on rush samples by agreement; trade-off is higher DOA risk in your first week.
Include "burn-in required" in Contact if procurement mandates pre-ship load testing.
